Despite Everything

Anyone can look around and see there's plenty wrong in the world. From war in Africa that's been waged since before most if not all of us were born, to the Holocaust, political corruption, family corruption, religious war, cheating, back stabbing, lying, or just not caring about those around you, the list could go on forever at this point.
On top of the daily depression and watching our world go down the drain, the holidays are tough for people who live in poverty, who have no home, who have everything in the world but no relationship with their family, who don't have someone to smile and love with, who feel completely and utterly alone and in the dark.
I'm not always good with words, so I found this verse for those close to me who feel the heaviness of the season with me. I know not everyone believes in the same God, or even believe in a god, but I hope someone finds light in the fact that there are people out there with a heart full of love and understanding with open arms, willing to sit through everything with them and cry about every little pain that keeps adding up.
